Unlock a thread spinlock

Synopsis:

#include <pthread.h>

int pthread_spin_unlock( spinlock_t * spinner );

Arguments:

spinner
A pointer to the pthread_spinlock_t object that you want to unlock.

Library:

libc

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The pthread_spin_unlock() function unlocks the thread spinlock specified by spinner, which was locked with pthread_spin_lock() or pthread_spin_trylock().

If there are threads spinning on spinner, the spinlock becomes available, and an arbitrarily chosen thread acquires the lock.

Returns:

EOK
Success.
EINVAL
Invalid process spinlock spinner.
EPERM
The calling thread doesn't hold the lock.
