These installation notes describe how to build, work with, and run this BSP.
Set up the hardware
Before you can work with the board, here are a few things you must do. For more information, see the hardware guide for the Xilinx KD240 on the vendor's website.

        Download and set up the BSP
        You can download Board Support Packages (BSPs) using the QNX Software Center.
        Set up the hardware
        Before you can work with the board, here are a few things you must do. For more information, see the hardware guide for the Xilinx KD240 on the vendor's website.
        System Layout
        The following is the memory layout required for the board.
        Prepare a bootable microSD card
        You can prepare a bootable microSD card on a Linux or Windows host system. We recommend that you use Class 10 (or UHS-1) microSD cards.
        Transfer the image
        After you build your images, you can put them on an microSD card. You can later use that microSD card to boot your board.
        Boot using U-Boot
        After you transfer the image to an microSD card, you can use it to boot your board. But first, you must configure U-Boot to boot QNX OS; this is done by defining a few environment variables. After you reset the board, it should boot QNX OS.

        You can use the QNX Momentics IDE or the commandline on Linux or Windows to build an image.
