Installation Notes
These installation notes describe how to build, work with, and run this BSP.
Set up the hardware
Before you can work with the board, here are a few things you must do. You'll need to connect the board and set the DIP switches. For more information, see the hardware guide for the Xilinx KD240 on the NXP website.
System layout
When using the Xilinx KD240, the following memory layout for the BSP image is required:

        Download and set up the BSP
        You can download Board Support Packages (BSPs) using the QNX Software Center.
        Set up the hardware
        Before you can work with the board, here are a few things you must do. You'll need to connect the board and set the DIP switches. For more information, see the hardware guide for the Xilinx KD240 on the NXP website.
        System layout
        When using the Xilinx KD240, the following memory layout for the BSP image is required:
        Prepare a bootable microSD
        You can prepare a bootable microSD on a Linux or Windows host system. We recommend that you use Class 10 (or UHS-1) microSDs.
        Transfer the image
        After you format and make your microSD bootable, you're ready to transfer the image to it.
        Boot the board
        After you transfer the image to an microSD, you can use it to boot your board.
      - Build the BSP
        You can use the QNX Momentics IDE or the commandline on Linux or Windows to build an image.
      - Using the Screen Graphics Subsystem
        The default buildfile (kd240.build) that's provided with this BSP doesn't build images that include files for the Screen Graphics Subsystem (Screen). Instead, you must use the images that are created from the imx8qm-cpu-mek-graphics.build file, which includes the necessary files for the Screen Graphics Subsystem.
