_RESMGR_NPARTS()

Indicate how many parts from the ctp->iov structure to return to the client

Synopsis:

#include <sys/resmgr.h>

#define _RESMGR_NPARTS( int num ) ...

Arguments:

num
The number of parts that you want the resource manager library to return to the client.

Description:

The macro _RESMGR_NPARTS() indicates to the resource manager library that it should return num parts from the ctp->iov structure (see resmgr_context_t) to the client. In effect, the library does the following:

MsgReply( ctp->rcvid, ctp->status, ctp->iov, num )

Returns:

The negative of num (to distinguish the number from error codes that the handler functions might return).

Caveats:

The resmgr_attach() function should set attr->nparts_max to be the maximum value for num.
