Add a permission to an access control list (ACL) permissions set
Synopsis:
#include <sys/acl.h>
int acl_add_perm( acl_permset_t permset_d,
acl_perm_t perm );
Arguments:
- permset_d
- The permissions set that you want to modify.
- perm
- The permission that you want to add; one of the following:
- ACL_EXECUTE
- ACL_READ
- ACL_WRITE
Library:
libc
Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.
Description:
The acl_add_perm() function adds a permission to an ACL permissions set.
Returns:
0, or -1 if an error occurred (errno is set).
Errors:
- EINVAL
- The perm argument doesn't contain a valid permission value.
