How to set Network interface options in a script

Applicable Environment

  • Topic: Script network interface options
  • SDP: 6.5.0
  • Host/Target: Any supported target

Recommendation

Actually these settings can only be set upon starting the driver, they cannot be changed with ifconfig as in other Oses. To change these settings one has to "umount /dev/io-net/en0" before starting the driver explicitly with the new parameters.
