Memory leak with setenv()

________________________________________________________________________

Applicable Environment
________________________________________________________________________
  • Topic: Memory leak with setenv()
  • SDP: 6.5.0
  • Target: Any supported target

Recommendation
________________________________________________________________________

If an existing environment variable is set with setenv(), this will by design not free the memory of the old value, making it look like setenv() is leaking memory. Check the documentation for setenv() and use putenv() instead.
