mketfs - size of generated image   ________________________________________________________________________ Applicable Environment ________________________________________________________________________ Topic: Size of an image created by mketfs SDP: 6.4.1 Host: Any supported host ________________________________________________________________________ Issue ________________________________________________________________________ The size of the etfs generated image doesn't match the options that I set. ________________________________________________________________________ Solution ________________________________________________________________________ The mketfs utility will allocate an additional 16 bytes for each cluster, which area is used to hold an internal structure. In order to properly calculate the size of the output image, you will need to take this into consideration. ________________________________________________________________________ NOTE: This entry has been validated against the SDP version listed above. Use caution when considering this advice for any other SDP version.
