The spellchecker functionality in the IDE text editor relies on the Java Development Tools being installed. You can install the Java Development Tools with the standard update function in Momentics. QNX also offers the JDT Plug-in Developer resources, so be careful to not mistake that for the Java Development Tools installation as they are not the same.

After installing the Jave Development Tools and restarting the IDE you will be able to edit the spellchecker settings. Also note that you will have to select the C/C++ Spell checking engine to be able and use your own dictionary.
