Applicable Environment

  • Topic: ksh as session leader, FYI
  • SDP: 6.3.0 SP3
  • Target: Any supported target

Recommendation
________________________________________________________________________

For example:
Someone started his app with ksh -lc /etc/system/sysinit
but after sysinit exit app wasn't running anymore.

That is because:
ksh -l makes shell to session leader.
This implies that session leader issues a SIGHUP to all the kids.
