Unblock a thread that's waiting on a condition variable

Synopsis:

#include <threads.h>

int cnd_signal( cnd_t* cond );

Arguments:

cond
A pointer to the cnd_t object for which you want to unblock the highest-priority thread.

Library:

libc

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The cnd_signal() function unblocks the highest priority thread that's waiting on the condition variable, cond. If more than one thread at the highest priority is waiting, cnd_signal() unblocks the one that has been waiting the longest.

Returns:

thrd_success
Success.
