QNX and AutoNavi Collaborate to Provide Localized In-Vehicle Navigation in China

Leading Chinese navigation provider to integrate its mobile navigation technology into QNX CAR Platform

SHANGHAI, August 27, 2013 QNX Software Systems Limited, a global leader in software platforms for in-car electronics, today announced that AutoNavi Holdings Limited (NASDAQ:AMAP), a leading provider of digital map content and navigation solutions in China, will integrate its mobile navigation technology into the QNX CAR Platform for Infotainment.

As a leading global provider of vehicle infotainment software platforms, QNX Software Systems is not only a technology leader, but also a design concept innovator in enhancing vehicle flexibility infotainment designs based on the QNX CAR Platform can be quickly customized, said Yongqi Yang, executive vice president of automotive business, AutoNavi. QNX Software Systems has integrated features such as smartphone connectivity, which meet AutoNavis aim to create a new generation of vehicle navigation solutions. AutoNavi will work together with QNX to create a smart and appropriate driving experience.
