QNX Software Systems Opens New Office in China

New Shanghai office to address growing demand for QNX products in several markets, including industrial automation, automotive, networking, and higher education.

OTTAWA, September 16, 2009 — QNX Software Systems today announced the opening of its new office in China. Located in Shanghai, the office will support the rapidly growing demand for QNX® products and services in Greater China. Andy Ha has been named sales manager and Alan Zhang field application engineer for the new office, and both bring 10 years of embedded software expertise to QNX customers.

“For more than 10 years QNX Software Systems has forged a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region through a network of highly qualified technology partners and distributors,” said Kimm Krueger, director of Asia Pacific sales, QNX Software Systems. “Our new office in Shanghai augments the power of this network, increasing our visibility and presence, and enabling us to meet the needs of customers more efficiently.”
