The OS services - Core package contains core OS services that are compatible with the QNX Neutrino RTOS 7.0. You can install QNX SDP on the following development hosts:

• Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, or Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
• macOS version 10.10, 10.11, 10.12
• Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 64-bit, Ubuntu Desktop 18.04 LTS 64-bit, or Ubuntu Desktop 16.04 LTS 64-bit, on x86_64 processors (QNX SDP 7 isn't supported on Linux on ARM processors)

Throughout this document, you may see reference numbers associated with particular issues, changes, etc. When corresponding with our Technical Support staff about a given issue, please quote the relevant reference number. You might also find the reference numbers useful for tracking issues as they become fixed.

Verification issues

These are the known verification issues that you may encounter when verifying your installation with this update:

• The swblit.h file in the following more recently released packages is incompatible with QNX SDP 7.0 OS Services - Core (7.0.0.SGA201702151847) because of a packaging error:

  • QNX SDP 7.0 Screen Base Graphics (7.0 BuildID 6272)
  • QNX SDP 7.0 Screen Base Graphics (7.0 BuildID 6299)

  The version of swblit.h will result in verification issues if you have will result in verification issues if you have one of the packages listed above already in your installation. You must ensure that the version of each of these files are compatible with the version of the QNX SDP 7.0 Screen Base Graphics package in your installation.

  We recommend that you address the verification issues that you observe by following the appropriate instructions based on your variation and version of QNX SDP 7.0 Screen Base Graphics.
