What's in this patch?

This patch contains the following files, installed under $QNX_TARGET/usr/include:

  • cpp/atomic
  • cpp/initializer_list
  • cpp/memory
  • cpp/type_traits
  • cpp/xstring
  • cpp/xxatomic
  • math.h
  • sys/platform.h

Fixed issues

  • C++ 11 bracket initialization no longer causes programs to fail with a SIGABRT. (Ref# J708960)
  • You can now call make_pair with unique_ptr. (Ref# J875079)
  • We've corrected some definitions in math.h that added the std:: prefix, which conflicts with explicit namespace use. (Ref# J999031)
  • We've corrected a conversion error for a store of a volatile atomic. (Ref# J1359247)
  • Using std::atomic with a function pointer no longer produces compilation errors. (Ref# J1358946)
  • The std::atomic classes now conform to the constexpr requirements of the C++ standard, giving global atomics a dependable initialization order. (Ref# J880985)
  • The following no longer produce an assertion failure:
    • atomic::compare_exchange_strong(other, value, std::memory_order_release)
    • atomic::compare_exchange_strong(other, value, std::memory_order_acq_rel)

    (Ref# J1429392)

Known issues

  • Only the std::atomic class has been updated to reflect the constexpr requirements of the C++ standard. (Ref# J1467811)
