QNX® Software Development Platform 6.6 Audio Patch (Patch ID 4006): Release Notes

Target OS: This patch is compatible with targets that are running QNX® Neutrino® RTOS 6.6.
Host OS: In order to apply this patch, you must have installed the QNX Software Development Platform 6.6 on one of the following development hosts:
- Microsoft Windows 8 Professional 64-bit, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, or XP Professional SP3
- Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 64-bit or Ubuntu Workstation LTS 12.04 32- and 64-bit
You must have already installed the following patch:
- QNX® Software Development Platform 6.6 Applypatch Patch (Patch ID 4024)

Fixed issues
- Audio now continues playback after having been paused and resumed.(Ref# J748089)
- A sound driver is now available to support USB audio devices.(Ref# J269844)
- Gain loss in the down conversion of the poly-rate converter is fixed.(Ref# J718868)
- A memory leak in io-audio is fixed.(Ref# J705104)
- Logging of BE PCM data in Audio library is fixed.(Ref# J675470)
- io-audio no longer crashes when bypassing the PCM software mixer.(Ref# J675436)
- Setting the CAPTURE_LOGGING environment variable now creates a pcm log in /tmp directory.(Ref# J649494)
- io-audio now supports USB audio.(Ref# J626770)
- Using io-audio with USB audio driver no longer results in a deadlock.(Ref# J613329)

The following updates are included:
- io-audio now aligns fragment size based on channel information
- OMAP5 Multichannel Buffered Serial Port (McBSP) driver is now updated to prevent SDMA from stalling, to prevent DMA from stalling in overrun/underrun conditions.
- waverec utility is now updated.
