QNX® Momentics® Development Suite 6.3.0 Service Pack 3 Touchscreen Driver Patch (Patch ID 872) Release Notes

Target OS: This patch is compatible with targets that are running QNX® Neutrino® 6.3.0 SP3 or 6.3.2.
Host OS: In order to apply this patch, you must have installed QNX Momentics 6.3.0 SP3 or 6.3.2 as a self-hosted QNX® Neutrino® system, or on one of the following host OSs:

What's in this patch?
This patch contains drivers for USB Egalax and Touch International touch devices. We now support all HID-based touchscreens in devi-hid via the devh-usb.so module. (Ref# 47429, 47435)
The following files are installed under $QNX_TARGET/ in the subdirectories for the supported targets:
- ARMLE:

- armle/lib/dll/devh-egalax.so
- PPCBE:
- ppcbe/usr/photon/bin/devi-hid
- ppcbe/lib/dll/devh-touchintl.so

- shle/usr/photon/bin/devi-hid
- shle/lib/dll/devh-touchintl.so
- shle/lib/dll/devh-egalax.so
- x86:
- x86/usr/photon/bin/devi-hid
- x86/lib/dll/devh-touchintl.so

In order to determine how to start io-hid, you need to check the documentation to see whether or not your touchscreen is HID-compliant:
- If it's HID-compliant, you simply need to use devh-usb.so,
like this:
io-hid -dusb devi-hid touch
- The Egalax and Touch International touchscreens aren't HID-compliant,
so we've provided devh-egalax.so and
devh-touchintl.so modules that convert the native controller
packets into HID packets, which devi-hid then handles.
For example:
io-hid -deglalax devi-hid touch
