Subject:	QNX® Momentics® Development Suite support for Microsoft Windows Vista

On January 30, 2007, Microsoft will have a General Availability (GA) release of Windows Vista. QNX Software Systems (QSS) has been testing on pre-GA versions of Vista and has found that some updates are required to some of the QNX Momentics tools to support Vista. As such, QNX is planning the following Momentics releases in late March 2007:

Momentics IDE 4.0.1 release which includes support for Windows Vista
Momentics 6.3.0 SP3 command line tools GA patch to support Windows Vista

Therefore, if you are looking to use the QNX Momentics IDE 4.x Development Suite (Professional or Standard editions) on Windows Vista, you will need to acquire these updates. All QNX Support Plan customers will be sent a notice when these are available for download from our web site.

Note that the current GA release of the QNX Momentics Development Suite supports a number of host platforms including Microsoft Windows XP / 2000 / NT, various Linux distributions, Solaris and QNX Neutrino (self hosted).
