Get the effective group ID

Synopsis:

gid_t getegid( void );

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The getegid() function gets the effective group ID for the calling process.

Returns:

The calling process's effective group ID. This function can't fail.
