Installation procedure
To install your graphics drivers:
- Download the graphics driver archive (QNX4-graphics_20051115.tar.gz).
- Backup the existing graphics drivers.
If you wish to keep a copy of the existing drivers and utilities, you'll need to save them to a safe location first, to prevent them from being overwritten during installation. # cp -Rvc /qnx4/graphics/driver/* /backupdir
- Get the cksum to ensure that the binary is correct.
# cksum QNX4-graphics_20051115.tar.gz
- Compare the result against the checksum posted on your myQNX account.
- Extract the archive with the updated drivers:
# cd / # gzip -d <download-path>/QNX4-graphics_20051115.tar.gz # tar -xvof <download-path>/QNX4-graphics_20051115.tar
