Fsys.atapi Block Driver

Installation procedure

To install the Fsys.atapi driver:

1. Download the driver archive (QNX4-atapi_20050429.tar.gz).
2. Get the cksum to ensure that the binary is correct:

   # cksum QNX4-atapi_20050429.tar.gz

3. Compare the result against the checksum posted on your myQNX account.
4. Extract the archive with the updated drivers:

   # cd /
   # gzip -d <download-path>/QNX4-atapi_20050429.tar.gz
   # tar -xvof <download-path>/QNX4-atapi_20050429.tar

   The following driver will be installed:

   • /bin/Fsys.atapi
5. Make sure that the binaries are executable:

     # chmod 775 /bin/Fsys.*
     # chown root:root /bin/Fsys.*

Online documentation

This patch doesn't update the online documentation for the Fsys.atapi driver. However, you'll find their latest options in its use message. You'll also find the list of supported chipsets in the release notes provided with this patch.
