Activate your QNX product


QNX Software Development Platform Activation
The QNX Software Development Platform and certain related products require activation. If your QNX development seat is connected to the Internet, you can activate them automatically; if your QNX development seat isn't connected, you must activate your software manually via this web page.
Enter the activate-prompt key for the manual activation of your QNX product into the form below, then click Generate Response Key. This will return an activate-response key, which you must enter into the QNX activation program on your QNX development seat. For details on obtaining the activate-prompt key and performing manual installation under the various host operating systems, see "Activation Help," below.

Note: activate-prompt keys are case-sensitive; take care to properly distinguish the characters '1' , 'I', 'l', 'O', '0', '2' and 'Z'.

Activation Help

You must activate your QNX development seat prior to using it. If you are activating via a manual process, the method you use depends on your host OS and on the version of the QNX Software Development Platform you have installed.

Using the appropriate method below, you will be presented with an activate-prompt key. Please enter this activate-prompt key from the the box above and press Generate Response Key.

Generating a Product Activation Response Key ( QNX SDP 7.x/8.x )
To manually activate your QNX SDP 7.x/8.x development seat, see "Perform manual product activation" in the QNX Software Center User's Guide.

Generating a Product Activation Response Key ( QNX SDP 6.x )


Windows
Select Programs-->QNX Momentics 6.x-->License Management-->Activate License from the Start menu and choose Activate Manually.

Linux
Enter "/opt/qnx650/activate_license.sh" at a terminal prompt and choose Activate Manually.

Solaris
Enter "/etc/qnx/bin/qnxactivate -a" at a terminal prompt and choose Activate Manually.

You will be presented with an activate-prompt key. Please enter this activate-prompt key into the box above and press Generate Response Key.

If activation fails

To troubleshoot activation issues, please visit the activation troubleshooting page on the QNX website.
If the response key still doesn't work, send email to activate@qnx.com with your activate-prompt key and a description of the problem.
