QNX Technology Seminar - Toronto
QNX Technology Seminar
Designing High-Performance, Low-cost Embedded Systems
Toronto, ON
Tuesday, June 14, 2005
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Co-sponsored by Freescale
In today's competitive market, engineering teams are under constant pressure to build systems that deliver rich functionality at the lowest possible cost - and under compressed timeframes. Finding integrated software and hardware platforms that maximize performance while maintaining system integrity and flexibility can be critical success factors.
Join QNX Software Systems and Freescale for a technical seminar that looks at optimizing power and performance using PowerPC, PowerQUICC, and MPC5200 platforms. Freescale Field Application Engineer Michael Leung will examine how these platforms provide the convergence, compatibility and cost-effectiveness that enable embedded systems manufacturers to be successful in the marketplace.
Jason Clarke, Application Engineer at QNX Software Systems, will then discuss how modular RTOS architecture enables you to take full advantage of available processing power while ensuring high levels of reliability, upgradability, and scalability. Jason will also provide a demonstration of how system tracing tools can be used to optimize performance in an application with tight timing requirements and limited CPU resources.
