A field consultant engineer at QNX Software Systems, Peter Weber provides consulting services to manufacturers in the industrial, automotive, and general embedded markets. These services include everything from initial product concepts to final software design. In addition to his Bachelor's degree in Electronics at Siemens AG, Mr. Weber studied technical informatics and physics in Dortmund, Germany. Prior to joining QNX, he was managing director of ProVis Software GmBH, which specializes in POS systems for medical databases and medical X-ray image analysis and archiving, and also served as managing director of dolphin GmBH, which specializes in industrial automation and process visualization.
