QNX® Momentics® 6.2.1 PE - Intel XScale IXDP425 BSP - Installation Note

QNX® Momentics® 6.2.1 PE

Intel XScale IXDP425 BSP

Installation Note

Date of this edition: March 17, 2004

Target OS: QNX® Neutrino® 6.2.1 Patch B with Supplemental Release

Host OS: Microsoft Windows 2K SP4; Sun Solaris 2.8; QNX® Neutrino® 6.2.1B Supplemental

For the latest information about this BSP, see the release notes.

Never use the QNX Software Installer through a phditto/phrelay session, because:
  • the installer can't detect multiple instances of itself through a phditto/phrelay session
  • when running the reboot script, the installer can try to shut down the system, but it doesn't know how to shut down phditto/phrelay sessions properly (phshutdown, which you normally use to reboot, does know how to handle these sessions).
