BitCtrl Systems GmbH was founded in 1990 as an independent system house for realtime programming and SCADA systems.

Today the business activities of BitCtrl are diverse and range from the development of automation products and embedded systems under QNX operating system to project engineering, realization, QNX distribution, sales and support of third party products for QNX RTOS applications, data-processing solutions, control engineering, product design, QNX based video applications, QNX board support packages. The company also provides training, further education, consulting, maintenance and support.

BitCtrl's employees possess well-grounded knowledge and extensive practical experience of computer hardware, stored-program control, IPC, field bus protocols, measurement technology, IEC 61131-3 programming, embedded systems and are extremely familiar with realtime programming with QNX operating system. BitCtrl has an exceptional developer team, which in addition to providing support for QNX operating system, also offers complete solutions in the form of system adaptations or extensive order developments.

Some of their main products include the modular and scalable SCADA system, FlexCtrl with many fieldbus drivers, universal data logger IOFlex and the BitCtrl® Media player as a component of the VidCtrl video streaming applications.
