Licensing Overview

1. QSS Creates Software:

QSS authors the vast majority of its code, but licenses some technology from commercial sources and some from open source distributions.

2. Third Parties Create Software and License to QSS:

Third party software has its own license terms. To the extent that these do not mesh seamlessly with QSS’ licensing terms, such software may have alternate or additional terms.

3. OEM & QSS Create Target System Software:

Development License
QSS gives OEM the right to use certain QSS products for development purposes under the End User License Agreement.
Support Services
QSS offers various support options, including standard support, priority support and engineering services.

4. OEM Manufactures Target System and Distributes:

The OEM License Agreement and Runtime License Agreement grant the OEM to copy, sublicense and distribute chosen runtimes with a specific OEM target system.
