Get the wake-up attribute of a mutex

Synopsis:

int pthread_mutexattr_getwakeup_np(
       const pthread_mutexattr_t *attr,
       int *wakeup );

Arguments:

attr
A pointer to the pthread_mutexattr_t object that you want to get the attribute from.
wakeup
A pointer to a location where the function can store the current value of the attribute.

Library:

libc

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The pthread_mutexattr_getwakeup_np() function gets the value of the wake-up attribute for the given mutex. If this attribute is enabled, a thread can call pthread_mutex_wakeup_np() to unblock any threads that are waiting for the mutex.

The “np” in this function's name stands for “non-POSIX.”
