Emulate an IBM PC keyboard controller

Synopsis:

vdev pckeyboard loc baddr

Option:

loc: The base address of the device registers (default space is io:).

For a list of options available to all vdevs, see “Common vdev options” at the beginning of this chapter.

Description:

x86 only. The pckeyboard vdev provides minimal emulation of an IBM PC keyboard controller.

This emulation is provided because for historical reasons; x86 systems expect the device to be present. The vdev provides the minimum emulation needed for a QNX Neutrino guest to reboot in a hypervisor VM.
