The Sensor Framework add-on component helps you to develop applications that use cameras and sensors.
This software component provides APIs and services for interacting with and managing cameras and sensors connected to the
target system. The Renesas R-Car V3H reference image contains an embedded system based on the Sensor Framework.
You can configure the reference image to use other cameras, sensors, and even custom files.
The Sensor Framework is built on the QNX Neutrino RTOS, a highly available, secure, realtime
operating system.
To get started, use the
QNX Software Center to install the following items
on your host system:
- QNX SDP 7.1 Sensor Framework Base
- QNX SDP 7.1 Sensor Framework Renesas R-Car V3H reference image
- Hardware Support package, QNX SDP 7.1 Sensor Framework Renesas V3H Support

To see these notes, in your browser, you must first
log in to the QNX website with your myQNX account. Then, in the
QNX Software Center,
right-click Sensor Framework for QNX SDP from the
Installed or
Available tab,
select Properties, and then
