About This Guide

The Working with Target Images guide explains how to generate a target image, and how to use filesets, profiles and other configuration files to specify the content and configuration or a target image for QNX products such as QNX Platform for ADAS.

This guide is useful if you are interested in building an image like the reference images that came with the QNX Platform for ADAS. Before you use this guide, you should have reviewed the following documentation:
  • Getting Started Overview
  • the Getting Started for the hardware platform that you're interested in
  • BSP User's guide and the BSP release notes for the board that you're building an image for
  • the release notes for the hardware support package of the board that you're building an image for
