Install and Boot a Reference Image

Platform-specific reference images offer a quick and convenient way to install a running system on a target board.

We provide platform-specific reference images to allow you to learn about and evaluate various features on the QNX Platform for ADAS. To use the reference image for this platform, you must download the reference image for the R-Car V3M Starter board, transfer the image to the board and then boot the board. Transferring a reference image for the QNX Platform for ADAS and booting the hardware platform is usually a simple process, but some additional configuration is required if you want to use sensors or cameras connected to the R-Car V3M Starter board. For information about how to connect cameras and sensors to the hardware for use with the reference image, see “Connect cameras and sensors” in the Use the Reference image chapter of this guide.
