posix_spawnattr_getschedpolicy()

Get the spawn-schedpolicy attribute of a spawn attributes object

Synopsis:

int posix_spawnattr_getschedpolicy(
       const posix_spawnattr_t *_Restrict attrp,
       int *_Restrict policy_p);

Arguments:

attrp

A spawn file attribute object.

policy_p

The scheduling policy to assign to the new process image in a spawn operation (if POSIX_SPAWN_SETSCHEDULER is set in the spawn-flags attribute). The default value of this attribute is unspecified.

Description:

The posix_spawnattr_getschedpolicy() function shall obtain the value of the spawn-policy_p attribute from the attributes object referenced by attrp.

The posix_spawnattr_getschedpolicy() and posix_spawnattr_setschedpolicy() functions are part of the Spawn and Process Scheduling options and don't need to be provided on all implementations.

Returns:

Upon successful completion, posix_spawnattr_getschedpolicy() returns zero and stores the value of the spawn-policy_p attribute of attrp into the object referenced by the policy_p parameter; otherwise, an error number is returned to indicate the error (errno is set).

Errors:

EINVAL

For any invalid parameter.

EOK

Success.
