Configure hardware and boot a reference image

The default image is set up to run the Camera MUX 2x2 example application and demonstrates how a system boots to immediately show a video stream from 4 CSI2 cameras. These are referred to as sensor cameras.

Before you boot the reference image on the S32V board, you must connect the required hardware. For information on how to connect your cameras for the reference image, see the Connect cameras section in this guide.

For information about setting up the S32V board, see Setting up the S32V board to use the reference image and Booting the reference image to understand how to boot the S32V board.

After you have transferred the image to an SD card, use it to boot your board. For more information about putting an image on a SD card, see Prepare an SD card with an image in the Install and Boot a Reference image chapter of this guide.

After the image boots, it runs the Camera MUX 2x2 example application by default. If you want to run another application or change the configuration to use other cameras, see the Use the Reference Image chapter of this guide.
