The QNX Platform for ADAS is a platform that you can use to build
an advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
The platform provides a set of APIs and services to build a complete ADAS system. The
reference image is preconfigured to run using virtual data and video, which we refer to
as file data and file cameras respectively. You can configure the
reference image to use cameras, sensors, and even custom files. The platform is built on
the QNX Neutrino RTOS, a highly available, realtime operating system.
To get started, use the
QNX Software Center to install the following items
on your host system:
- add the QNX Platform for ADAS 2.0 — Typical
Configuration (or QNX Platform for ADAS 2.0 — Locked Typical
Configuration) installation
- install the QNX Platform for ADAS 2.0 —
ASRock Beebox reference image
- if you plan to build an image, install the Hardware Support package,
QNX Platform for ADAS 2.0 — ASRock Beebox Support

Ensure that you look at the Release Notes for this
product. To see the release notes, in the
QNX Software Center,
right-click QNX Platform for ADAS from the
Installed or
Available tab,
select Properties, and then
click Release Notes. Before you can see
the release notes in your browser, ensure that you log in to the
QNX website with your myQNX account.
