Solution

The fs-qnx6 module doesn't need the partition type/number to be 177, 178, 179 unless you are auto-enumerating. So any value can be used, but you have to be sure to force the type "mount -tqnx6" if it is not one of these "known" qnx6 types (177, 178, 179). It will actually support multiple 177s, but fdisk won't allow you to create multiple 177 type partitions.
