Clear “close on exec” on a file descriptor

Synopsis:

Arguments to ioctl():

Argument Value
fd A file descriptor that you obtained by opening the device
request FIONCLEX

Description:

This command clears the “close on exec” flag on a file descriptor. It's implemented as a call to fcntl() with a command of F_SETFD and an additional argument of ~FD_CLOEXEC.

Input:

None.

Output:

None.
