Install and Boot a Reference Image

Platform-specific reference images offer a quick and convenient way to install a running system on a target board.

We provide platform-specific reference images to allow you to learn about and evaluate various features on the Sensor Framework for QNX SDP. To use the reference image for this platform, you must download the reference image for the R-Car V3H, transfer the image to the board and then boot the board. For information about how to do this, see these sections in this chapter:

Transferring a Sensor Framework reference image and booting the hardware platform is usually a simple process, but some additional configuration is required if you want to use sensors or cameras connected to the R-Car V3H target system. For information about how to connect cameras and sensors, see Connect cameras and sensors in the Use the Reference Image chapter of this guide.
