TCGETA

Get the terminal properties in a termio structure

Synopsis:

#include <sys/ioctl.h>

#define TCGETA          _IOR('T', 1, struct termio)

Arguments to ioctl():

Argument Value
fd A file descriptor that you obtained by opening the device
request TCGETA
Additional argument A pointer to a struct termio

Description:

This command gets the current terminal control settings of a device.

Note: This command is for internal use, and you shouldn't use it directly. Instead use the tcgetattr() cover function.

The TCGETS ioctl() command is similar, but it uses a struct termios instead of a struct termio.

Input:

None.

Output:

A filled-in termio structure.
