DCMD_IP_SHUTDOWN

Set the method of shutting down a socket

Arguments to devctl():

Argument Value
filedes A descriptor for a socket.
dcmd DCMD_IP_SHUTDOWN
dev_data_ptr A pointer to a uint32_t
n_bytes sizeof(uint32_t)
dev_info_ptr NULL

Description:

This command sets the method of shutting down a socket. Clients usually use shutdown() to generate this request.

Input:

The method you want to use; one of:

SHUT_RD
Don't allow further receives.
SHUT_WR
Don't allow further sends.
SHUT_RDWR
Don't allow further sends or receives.

Output:

None.
