towlower()

Convert a wide character to lowercase

Synopsis:

wint_t towlower( wint_t wc );

Arguments:

wc: The wide character that you want to convert. This argument must be a wide-character code that corresponds to a valid character in the current locale, or must be WEOF; otherwise, the function's behavior is undefined.

Library:

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The towlower() function converts wc to a lowercase letter, if wc represents an uppercase letter.

Returns:

The corresponding lowercase letter when the argument is an uppercase letter; otherwise, the original wide character is returned. If the argument doesn't correspond to a valid character in the current locale and isn't WEOF, the function's behavior is undefined.
