qdb_cell()

Return a cell's data

Synopsis:

#include <qdb/qdb.h>

void * qdb_cell( qdb_result_t *res,
                 int row,
                 int col );

Arguments:

res
A pointer to a result structure to check.
row
The row number of the cell, where the first row is 0.
col
The column number of the cell, where the first column is 0.

qdb

Description:

This function returns the data from one cell from a database query result. The returned pointer points to the beginning of the data. You must cast the pointer to the appropriate data type. For example:

uint64_t storage_type = *(uint64_t*)qdb_cell(res, 0, 0);

Returns:

A pointer
A pointer to the beginning of the cell's data.
NULL
An error occurred (errno is set).
