Using the application builder, a visual design tool for the QNX Photon® microGUI® windowing system, create full-featured user interfaces (UIs) with point-and-click simplicity. In fact, no need to write any code — the application builder can automatically generate a complete working prototype of a UI.

Since the application builder is integrated with the IDE, use wizards to create any new application builder project:

• jumpstart development with pre-built templates or build a user interface from an extensive palette of widgets
  
• link dialogs and menus directly to widgets or add source call backs
  
• edit, build, test, and debug graphical applications using the intuitive IDE tools in the suite
  
• create a widget once, then dynamically create as many copies as the application requires
  
• translate an interface into multiple languages without having to recompile or re-link; each language version can work with the same executable
  

The application builder offers UI components for a wide range of applications from handheld devices to operator workstations.
