Speaker biographies:
David Randall has over 18 years experience in the embedded, real-time industry in software design, technical sales and marketing, sales and business development at companies such as Presagis, Wind River Systems and Green Hills Software. He currently holds the position of product marketing manager at QNX Software Systems. David holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
Amichai Ron is currently industrial automation business manager for Texas Instruments’ digital signal processing division. During his ten-year tenure at TI, Ron has held various engineering roles such as System Engineer with the cable modem group in Israel, to mixed signal system Group Manager for the cable modem, wireless LAN, VOIP and Ethernet businesses. In 2007, Amichai served as the world-wide mixed signal organization manager for TI’s DSP division and in 2009 became the industrial automation business principle for the ARM microprocessor group in TI. Amichai earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and also holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from Tel Aviv University.
