Mocana Partners with Embedded OS Vendor QNX to Provide Complete Device Security Solution

Provides Customers with a Robust and Scalable Security Option that Operates Seamlessly with the QNX Neutrino Operating System

SAN FRANCISCO – December 3, 2007 – Mocana, a software company that is enabling a secure networked society, today announced a new alliance with QNX Software Systems, a leading global provider of operating system (OS) software for embedded systems. The alliance provides users of the QNX® Neutrino® real-time operating system with a ready-made, easily embedded high-level device security solution that is robust, scalable and easy to use. This open standards solution will ensure that connected devices are properly secured while also providing device manufacturers the flexibility to adapt security needs as their businesses evolve.

All of Mocana’s security software products making up the Mocana Device Security Framework easily integrate with the QNX Neutrino RTOS. Mocana’s solutions will enable QNX Neutrino RTOS customers to easily provide security features and functionality with the OS. In addition, Mocana and QNX will engage in joint sales and marketing efforts.
