QNX Technology Seminar - Vienna, Virginia

QNX/Condor Technology Seminar and Panel Discussion
MIL-1553 and beyond

QNX Software Systems and Condor Engineering invite you to an open panel discussion on Tuesday, May 3 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.

This complimentary session will provide a unique opportunity to address concerns and obtain opinions on the mature MIL-STD-1553 standard and discuss what innovations are to come in the market.

MIL-STD-1553 has been the standard Military Avionics Interface for many of years. Currently the defense industry has used a number of different interface standards (Fiber Channel, Fiber Optic, and Ethernet) on newer programs in conjunction with the 1553 standard. However, no single standard interface has emerged to replace MIL-STD-1553. With the emphasis today on COTS product, this open panel discussion will look at the topics such as 1553, MMSI, Ethernet and ARINC 664 (AFDX) from a hardware and software perspective. Producing Device Drivers for specific hardware on the fly, continuing support for 1553, and more...

The session will provide a brief overview of the offerings of QNX and of Condor, and will be followed by an open forum in which you can ask questions and get answers on some of the hottest topics in the industry.
