This document explains how to write your own HTML5 apps for the QNX CAR platform using WebWorks. It also explains how to write your own custom JavaScript extensions, if your apps require them.
Although you can use various technologies to build apps for the QNX CAR app platform, HTML5 offers a number of advantages, including portability, flexibility, feature-set, and performance. In our opinion, HTML5 will be the predominant vehicle (no pun intended) for delivering automotive apps.
