The Home screen appears when the HMI starts up.
The Home dashboard provides a live view of any navigation in progress. It also shows any playing media, any recent messages, and a live weather feed (hard-coded for Toronto, Ontario, Canada) from The Weather Network. These information feeds are shown in separate view panes.
An information bar spanning the top of the display shows the user name, the time, the temperature, and the volume level for media playback.
The Navigator (aka Applications Window Manager) shows a taskbar spanning the bottom of the display. The taskbar provides touch-sensitive and voice-activated tabs to navigate to the following screens:
- Home
- Navigation
- Media Player
- Settings
- Communications
- App Launcher
- Push-to-Talk
