gunzip
Uncompress files (GNU)
Syntax:
gunzip [-cfhLrtvVM] [name...]
Options:
See gzip/gunzip/zcat.
Description:
The gunzip utility uncompresses files that have been compressed with gzip. It is equivalent to gzip -d. See gzip for more details.
