Description:
The fontcfg utility is used to configure your fonts under Photon. It updates per-user configuration files located in $HOME/.photon/font. If the utility is invoked by root, the global system files in /usr/photon/font are modified (you must also specify the -G global flag to confirm).

Users who use a personal font configuration file don't have automatic access to new fonts when /usr/photon/font is updated. Once a configuration file is customized, it's immune to changes made on the default directory. |
